Khalsa College Patiala released a book All Time Stories
Post Graduate Department of English, Cultural Studies and Foreign Languages of Khalsa College, Patiala released a book ‘All Time Stories’, a collection of stories taken from diverse cultures.
The short stories manifest the ideas, customs and social behavior of the multicultural society. Under the able guidance of Dr. Deepinderjeet Randhawa, Chief editor of the book, stories have been edited by Prof. Jaspreet Kaur, Dr. Rouble Brar, Prof. Navdeep Kaur and Dr. Ayesha Khosla. The book is prescribed for the students of undergraduate classes.
Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal of the college while lauding the commendable effort of the department said that being an Autonomous college it caters to the needs of contemporary times by imparting quality education to the students by providing them with motivational literature. The department will also strive hard to imbue cultural values and tolerance through cultural studies.
Dr. Deepinderjeet Randhawa, Head of the department speaking on this occasion said that the department has already published two books with the title of ‘Flames of Inspiration’ and ‘Diverse Voices’. The book will introduce the fascinating world of short stories and will inculcate moral values among the students. Students and teachers of the department were present there.
