The woman belonging to Sekha Road in Barnala who was corona positive has won the war against the corona virus. The woman’s consecutive test came negative, after which she was discharged from the Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. Today, the Deputy Commissioner Tej Partap Singh Phoolka and the health staff presented a bouquet to the lady at Civil Hospital Barnala, The Deputy Commissioner congratulated the health staff and Civil Surgeon Dr. Gurinderbir Singh.

Deputy Commissioner said that this was the result of the cooperation and hard work of health staff that concerned patient has been cured.  Meanwhile, Radha Rani (44) said that strong will power is must to defeat Corona. She appealed to people to stay at home and take all precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, Civil Surgeon, Dr. Gurinderbir Singh said that Radha Rani was confirmed positive on 5th April and now she is totally fine. So far 89 samples have been taken in the district, out of which two came positive. One of these patients died at Ludhiana hospital and another patient has recovered. In addition, the report of 13 samples is still pending and the rest are negative, He added.
