Lockdown instruction and implementation committee formed by Punjab govt

Punjab govt has formed a Lockdown instruction and implementation committee for taking quick decisions to deal with different aspects of containment of Coronavirus (Covid 19).
This committee will review all the arrangements related to security and enforcement of law and order and all measures that re required for effective management of curfew/ lockdown in the state due to COVID 19 and take appropriate measures to ensure the supplies of essential commodities and services.
The committee will be headed by Satish Chandra ,additional chief secretary home affairs and justice as chairperson. He will be assisted by eight other Punjab govt high profile officials. The committee shall also examine the various orders received from Government of India with regard to lockdown/ curfew and finalise the guidelines/ instructions for various departments of Government of Punjab for compliance to contain Covid 19.
