GNDU students hired by reputed National and Multinational IT Companies

Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar organized placement drives by various national and multinational companies for the academic session 2023-24.
Students from the various IT courses of the university have bagged 220 job offers in these placement drives. The highest pay package of Rs. 18.43 Lakh per annum has been offered to GNDU students. These students have got an average pay package of Rs. 6.40 Lakhs per annum. They have got the jobs before completion of their studies and they will join their jobs in June and July, 2024 after passing out their respective courses.
Multinational companies like TCS, Accenture, Amdocs, KPMG, Axtria, Copperpod, Stylumia, Nucleus Software, Xenon Stack, Zversal, Guidewire Software, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), Indus Towers and many others have conducted the recruitment process for B.Tech. Computer Science / Electronics, MCA and M.Tech. students. It shows that reputed National and Multinational companies are hiring students in big numbers from GNDU, Amritsar. Students of various courses from main campus Amritsar as well as the regional campuses of Jalandhar and Gurdaspur participated in these placement drives.
Apart from placement drives, a large number of internship drives were also conducted by the department. Many companies offered both placement as well as internship to the selected students. Large number of students also got handsome stipend during their six month internship. One of the selected student has got the maximum internship stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month in the six months internship.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students and faculty members for their selection in various companies. Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh and Registrar Dr. K.S. Kahlon also congratulated the students for this great success. Dr. Amit Chopra, Director added that the GNDU is one of the favourite institutes of Northern India among the leading multinational IT companies to hire the students in big numbers.
