World University Law Students participated in Lok Adalat

Students of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University’s University School of Law attended National Lok Adalat held at Fatehgarh Sahib.

Vice Chancellor of the University and Head of the University School of Law, Dr. Sukhdarshan  Singh Khehra told that the students of the department attended the recently held Lok Adalat at Fatehgarh Sahib to observe the nitty-gritties of legal system. Dr. Khehra said that apart from imparting academic knowledge via daily lectures, the students must expose themselves to the practical side of the legal system in the country.

Students of World University’s Law Department participate in Lok Adalat

By attending the Lok adalat, the students will not only acquaint themselves with the kind of cases presented their but will also get the first-hand experience of legal proceedings, the Vice Chancellor said.

He said that the Department is committed to provide best possible facilities to the students and it is for the fulfillment of the same the Department has a state of the art moot court and a legal aid clinic. Dr. Sunaina, Assistant Professor from the Department accompanied the students and told that the students interacted with the legal authorities and cleared their doubts.
