Official’s fault-one report is delaying PSPCL employee’s promotion

An employee who works with any organisation-govt or private sector eagerly waits for his/ her promotion. And if a promotion is delayed for no fault of his/ her, it hurts everyone.
Upper division clerk’s working with Punjab state power corporation limited are waiting for their promotions to CA/ARA, for the last many months, but one report is killing their enthusiasm as the concerned officials were not providing “Only One day” information to the management, which is creating hindrance in their next promotion.
PSPCL Under Secy Zones, Head Office at Patiala has once again issued a reminder on June,8,2020 to secy. BBMB, all chief engineers of PSPCL , PSTCL and BBMB, to all deputy chief engineers / superintending engineers of PSPCL , PSTCL and BBMB, to chief finance officer/ establishment department/ chief auditor/ chief accounts officer Patiala, all the deputy chief accounts officer, deputy chief auditor , deputy secretary PSPCL, PSTCL, BBMB, all additional superintending engineers along with others to urgently forward the information required, so that the promotions of upper divisional clerk to (UDC) to CA/ ARA can be done, timely.
Official’s fault-one report is delaying PSPCL employee’s promotion.The department is demanding a report of UDC’s of general category, handicapped, SC/ST employees who attended or participated in a one day strike call on March,19,2020, so that the management can take decision on their promotion as “the principle of no work no pay will apply on the striking employees and disciplinary action will be taken as per services rules” is the rule of PSPCL for all employees, but the officials failed to provide the required information to the head office and this is causing delay in the promotions of UDC’s.
