Brahm Shankar Sharma assumes charge as vice chairman PSIDC

Brahm Shankar Sharma (Jimpa) today assumed the office as Vice Chairman of Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation (PSIDC). Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Sunder Sham Arora and family members of newly appointed PSIDC Vice Chairman were also present on the occasion.

While welcoming the newly appointed Vice Chairman, Arora said that by giving this responsibility to Sharma, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has appreciated the efforts of a social worker. He said that Brahm Shankar Sharma would certainly work hard for redressing the issues related to industries and would contribute in uplifting our industry.

While thanking Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, Brahm Shankar Sharma assured that he would perform his duty wholeheartedly and with utmost devotion. He also said that he would ensure that the industry in Punjab gets promoted globally.

It is pertinent to mention that Brahm Shankar Sharma has been associated with social service for the last several decades, besides have remained a Municipal Councillor from Hoshiarpur thrice.

Brahm Shankar Sharma assumes charge as vice chairman PSIDC. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Director Industries C. Sibin, MD PSIEC Sumit Jarangal, Narveer Singh Nandi Sarpanch, Varinder Sharma Vindu, besides several others.

Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation (PSIDC), was established in the year 1966 to promote planned industrial development in the organised sector and to speed up industrialisation in the state of Punjab. Today, PSIDC’S name is synonymous in the corporate world and it is engaged in the promotion of large and medium scale projects. PSIDC is responsible for making major projects happen in the new economic environment.
