Laurels; World University student of Law grabbed first position in online competitions

Continuing with stupendous achievements of the students, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib’s student Rubalpreet Kaur, from University School of Law, grabbed first position in Inter- University online essay writing competition. The competition was organized by Department of District Youth Welfare, Fatehgarh Sahib. Students from various educational institutions actively participated in multiple online competitions. Rubalpreet Kaur, the one who stood first, wrote an essay on the topic of Covid-19. Dr. Sunaina, In-charge, University school of law shared that the essay topic was given to the participants on the spot. She added that Rubalpreet Kaur is a brilliant student of the law department and her latest achievement has made the department and the University proud. She further added that all the participants got e-certificates for the competitions.

Dr. Sikandar Singh, Dean Student Welfare congratulated the winners and the participants and mentioned that such co-curricular activities help in all round development of the personality of students. He further added that such activities are consistently organised by the University. Dr. Paramjeet Singh, Head, University School of Law said that competitions like these help the students to express their thoughts freely and are also instrumental in building their self-confidence.
