All set for state government protest; instructions issued

As per a letter issued by a BDPO “Punjab government is going to organize a state level protest in Punjab on Monday, September 21,2020, against the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, that have been passed in Lok Sabha.”
The three bills will now be tabled in Rajya Sabha and become laws after the Upper House also passes them.To make it successful, officers has issued instructions to their subordinates to aware the leaders to stage a protest in their areas, on Monday and make it successful.
In one such case block development and panchayat officer (BDPO) Sardulgarh in Mansa district has issue a letter to all the panchayat secretaries, VDO’s of Sardulgarh block to inform all the sarpanches to stage a protest against the union government for passing of the agriculture bill by the lok sabha.
He even asked the sarpanches to participate in this upcoming dharna in maximum numbers on Monday September,21,2020 from 10: am to 11: 00 am and make it sucessful. They were also directed to upload their protest photographs on a given number of Punjab Pradesh congress committee media cell.
