Baljinder S Rathour appointed Director of UK Affairs of ICFA
United Kingdom-Indian Council of Food and Agriculture (ICFA) is an apex think tank for addressing policy issues concerning farmers, food and agro industries. Dr MJ Khan – Chairman of ICFA during his recent visit to UK appointed Baljinder Singh Rathour as Director of UK Affairs of ICFA who will be representing Indian Council of Food and Agriculture at all the forums in UK to promote business, trade and cooperation between UK & India.

ICFA – UK will also involve in mounting trade and business delegations, farmers and agribusiness professionals to India and receive such delegations from India for exposure visits and for exploring opportunities for business, technologies and investments & will be part of organizing various business and agro related events in UK and joint events elsewhere in the Europe or India.
During this Visit Dr. Khan, along with Rathour & Fariha Ahmed – Vice President ICFA met legendary Prof. MS Swaminathan at Cambridge University who is known for having pioneered India’s Green Revolution. Prof Swaminathan delivered a lecture which focused on Eco Agriculture with farming systems approach as way forward for ever green revolution to feed the world. Swaminathan completed his PhD in 1953 from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.
