Dr. Pooja of Punjabi University to receive Teachers’ Excellence award

Dr. Pooja, working as Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Punjabi university, Patiala has been recently selected for Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Teachers’ Excellence award 2020 (Courtesy All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE), by Skihshak Kalyaan Foundation, a Ghaziabad based NGO. The award is likely to be conferred by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, on September 5,2021
As per available information, Prof. Pooja has teaching experience of more than 16 years in reputed institutes. She has published two books titled Introduction to Fractional Fourier Transform with LAP LAMBERT Academy Publishing, Deutschland Germany and MATLAB and SIMULINK (A Basic Understanding for Engineers) with Cambridge Scholars Publishing, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. She has recently written another book titled Electronic Circuit Analysis using LTSpice XVII Simulator: A Practical Guide for Beginners which is going to be released on 18 August 2021.
She has created an online course in Basic Electrical Engineering (common for all branches), on Udemy Platform (https://www.udemy.com/user/pooja-3671/). She has also developed a Facebook Page Engineermohindru (https://www.facebook.com/drpoojamohindru/) that contains very informative lecture notes, video lectures, a bank of question papers of previous years to help students during the lockdown period. She has also made video lecture series for the subjects like Basic Electronics and Digital Electronics (common for all branches), Simulink/Matlab software package which has been published on the science and technology related Youtube channel which is available at URL: (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvg43VhorulkehKUxZFzHSQ) with the name of Dr Pooja Mohindru. She has published more than 25 research articles in various reputed International Journals which also include five research papers in SCI Indexed Journals.
Elaborating her future plans, she said ,” she will continue to publish useful contents on various available digital platforms. She believes that her efforts and unique work will support engineering and technology students worldwide..”
