DAV Public School Patiala celebrates Teachers’ Day with great fervour and gratification

In order to honour the highest Profession and to salute their contribution and unwavering commitment in Nation building, DAV public school Patiala organized a dazzling extravaganza with great gusto on Teachers’ day . Since morning the ambience was set to the high tone of celebration, the program commenced with the ceremonial Tilak ceremony, hence giving a warm welcome to Principal Vivek Tiwari and his better half Anu Tiwari.
The day was also auspicious as on this day Poonam Mehta who retired during pandemic period was invited for the formal adieu.
The highlight of the event stood when Principal Vivek Tiwari administered an oath to the teachers, wherein they vowed to continuously work hard to maintain the sanctity of the teaching and would constantly strive to promote independent and creative thinking in the students . They also pledged for imparting quality education and vouched for treating all the students equally, they promised to build their own. Capacities too, while administering the oath. . Avinash Kaushik during her speech expressed her gratitude to . Mehta for rendering untiring services for the upliftment and growth of many children.
Further to express appreciation and to recognize the worth of every teacher of the school more prominently a beautiful power point presentation was presented, hence bringing a smile on every face . Last but not the least teachers were presented with amazingly designed gratitude cards.
Principal Vivek Tiwari while congratulating all the teaching fraternity on this special day quoted that since beginning teachers have been playing irreplaceable and pivotal role in shaping up the lives of many, their contribution should be well recognized he also motivated the teachers to endeavor for the excellence. The program concluded with vote of thanks presented by Geeta Sharma (HOD SST department).
