Punjab Dy CM not allowed to land in UP

UP Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi has asked the Lucknow airport authorities to not to allow chief minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel and & Punjab Dy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to land at the airport
Baghel & Randhawa have announced to visit Lakhimpur Kheri today, where 8 people have died in yesterday clashes.
As per reports, the state govt has already arrested Priyanka Gandhi Vadra , who is also going to Lakhimpur Kheri and house arrested the SP , BSP, Congress leaders of UP.
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa is going to visit Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on Monday (October 4, 2021) to have on the spot assessment of the situation there.
Randhawa had said, he wanted to personally meet the families of the victims and have first hand information about the situation prevailing there. The Deputy CM will be accompanied by a team of officials. Randhawa has appealed to farmers to maintain peace at all costs while promising justice to the victims.
Punjab pradesh congress committee working president Kuljit Nagra said “I will be visiting Lakhimpur Kheri, UP today (Monday, October 4,2021) with a delegation of Punjab Govt. to assess the situation after the killing of innocent farmers by the BJP goons. I condemn & demand immediate FIR under Sec 302 against the culprits!
