Navjot Sidhu back in the driver’s seat? DGP changed midnight in Punjab

Punjab government has changed the director general of police (DGP) Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota (having additional charge) and made Siddharth Chattopadhyaya as the new DGP Punjab (additional charge).
From the day one, since the change of guard in Punjab, Navjot Singh Sidhu is demanding that Siddharth Chattopadhyaya to be made DGP (acting), till the final name is cleared by the UPSC. But Charanjit Singh Channi is interested in making IPS Sahota as the DGP.
