Jolt to Punjab congress; former minister joins AAP

Former Cabinet Minister – Punjab, Member AICC, Vice President Punjab Jagmohan singh Kang along with his son Yadavindra & Amrinder joins aam admi party in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal and Raghav Chadha, after the congress denied party ticket to him or his son.
Raghav Chadha shared this information on social media” Disenchanted with Punjab Congress- Jagmohan Singh Kang Saab, 3 time cabinet minister and MLA joins AAP alongwith his sons & Youth Congress leaders Yadavindra & Amrinder. Agitated with the Congress for not giving ticket to his son from the Kharar seat for the upcoming Punjab assembly elections, Kang joins AAP. Earlier he had declared that his son Yadvindra Singh Kang will contest the polls from Kharar as an independent candidate and will file nomination papers on Tuesday.
Kang levelled allegations against the CM of buying land for his personal use and then charging it to the Kharar municipal council’s accounts, thus costing the civic body crores of rupees. “I have been humiliated. Now, I will go to every village in Morinda, Chamkaur Sahib and then in Bhadaur. We will defeat him,” he said.
Jagmohan Singh Kang was a member of Punjab Vidhan Sabha from Kharar from 2012 to 2017. From 2002 to 2007 he was the Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development Tourism & Fisheries in Punjab Government.
