Thrill to see his country aircraft, bought Czech Pilot to Patiala

Patiala-Eagerness, love and passion for flying machines, attracted a Czech Republic pilot to visit Royal City Patiala . Roman Kramarik a Czech Pilot today specially visited Patiala, enroute to world tour to see Two Aircrafts of Czechoslovakia given to Patiala Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College, at Patiala in early 80’s by the Government.

Enroute of his circumnavigating the World, Roman Kramarik landed in Delhi and then especially  visited Patiala Aviation Club by road, as he didn’t get the permission to fly to Patiala from DGCA (Director General Civil Aviation) to see two Czech Republic aircraft’s, ZLIN 326 which is lying with Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College. Roman Kramarik is flying solo circum navigating the world to mark 100 years of Independence of Czechoslovakia. He is expected to complete this tour in 36 days and will land back in Prague on September 8, 2018.

An aviator since 1989, Flight instructor, aerobatic pilot and a gliding enthusiast, Roman won the 2008 Czech aerobatic championship (sportsman category). He works as a lawyer. In 2009 Roman took a brief secondment as a deputy minister of transport in a technocratic government. Flying was a childhood dream that became true for Roman. I usually fly abroad with a Cessna P210N OK-TGM. The “TGM“ designation , which is the acronym of Tomas Garrigue Masaryk- First President of Czechoslovakia, brought me to the idea of flying around the world on the 100th anniversary of our independence as a part of patriotism.
