Punjab health department may suffer as Principal Secretary post goes vacant

Aam admi party (AAP) had won recently held Punjab assembly elections with a clandestine victory on the promises that they will change the health, school education, governance facilities in the state.
Exactly after one month, on which Bhagwant Mann took oath as Punjab chief minister, today, Punjab Government Issue the transfer orders of 32 senior IAS officers.
But the most surprising in today’s bureaucratic reshuffle is that no senior IAS officer has been given the charge of Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare. Till now, Raj Kamal Chaudhuri IAS, was Principal Secretary Health and family welfare. But in today’s reshuffle, he is given the charge of Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Services .
“The Principal Secretary is the administrative head of the department. He advises the Minister on all matters of policy and administration within his department. On return of cases from the Minister he returns the files to the Department alongwith orders if necessary through the Commissioner and Secretary. So without the Principal Secretary Health and family welfare, the working of the state government will suffer” said a retired civil surgeon
Ajoy Sharma,IAS has been given the charge of Secretary health and family welfare in place of Kumar Rahul. Ajoy Sharma, new secretary health is an alumnus of Engineering College, Kota.
Punjab health department may suffer as Principal Secretary post goes vacant .In another reshuffle, Principal Secretary, Medical Education and Research Alok Shekhar has been transferred too and but the charge of Principal secretary medical education and research has been given to Hussan Lal ,IAS.
