Bargari Sacrilege cases’ report handed over to Sikh leaders by CM

Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann handed over final investigation report of 467-page report Punjab Police SIT led by IG SPS Parmar on Bargari Sacrilege cases’ to Sikh leaders.
As per sources, the SIT final report on the Bargari sacrilege cases has squarely blamed the Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda for the incidents and named jailed Dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh as the main conspirator.
Earlier, Ranbir Singh Khatra was the chairman of the SIT constituted by the state government on April 22, 2020, to probe the sacrilege incidents at Burj Jawahar Singh Wala and Bargari in Faridkot in 2015. Later, Surinder Pal Singh Parmar (SPS Parmar) was made the SIT head to investigate the Sacrilege cases’.
