Virasat-e-Khalsa ,Dastaan-e-Shahadat and Golden Temple Plaza to remain close for the visitors

World renowned museum Virasat-e-Khalsa at Sri Anandpur Sahib along with Dastaan-e-Shahadat at Sri Chamkaur Sahib and Golden Temple Plaza at Amritsar will remain closed for the visitors from 24th to 1st August, 2022.
Stating this, the spokesman of the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Punjab informed that as per decision taken by the authorities, the museums are kept closed in the last week of January and July every year for carrying out repair and maintenance works which ordinarily cannot be carried out in the museums due to constant movement of the visitors inside the them.
The museums will re-open on 2nd August, 2022. Therefore, the visitors are advised to plan their visit to these museums accordingly, he said.
