Indians are forgetting their culture,nutritious food-Chef Jaswinder

Amritsar-  A Guest Lecture on ‘Requisite to be a CHEF’ was organized here today at the Department of Tourism & Hotel Management of the Guru Nanak Dev University. A large number of students and faculty attended.

Eminet Chef, Jaswinder Singh from Panjab University, Chandigarh delivered this lecture. He said that the Indians are forgetting their culture and food and moving towards western culture. Punjabi cuisine is becoming a nightmare. If one wants to be good chef, then it is essential to have qualities like patience, hardwork, dedication, common sense and leadership. It is pertinent to mention here that the University has introduced Bachelors in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) from this academic session.
