The Patiala Management Association (PMA), along with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the Thapar University organized an interactive talk on a new Series called “ Meet the CEO”, topic of “Amritsar to Advertizing, Zee to Zindagi” by Sandeep Goyal, CEO of Mogae Media. The speaker shared his insights and wisdom on life and his journey. The speaker shared the advertisements and the stories behind them, including iconic brands like Toyota, Eveready, HDFC and Eveready. The students of the Thapar University’s Enterprise Development Cell were also present there under the guidance of Dr. MD Singh, to take full advantage of the speaker’s work and experience.
PMA, “Meet the CEO ” programme was hosted by Parvesh Roy Mangla, the President of the Patiala Management association. The other prominent members of the executive, HPS Lamba, (Vice President), Vikas Kalra(VP- Planning), Dr. Satyen Sharma (General Secretary), Dr. Manu Vats (Finance Secretary) were also present in the event.
Origin of PMA
PMA (Patiala Management Association) owes its origin largely to the initiative and foresight of a few prominent industrialists, academicians, senior executives and professional managers of Patiala, who, realized the need for a professional association for exchange of views and experience among managers. With this as background, the Patiala Management Association came into being in 1997. PMA operates in affiliation with All India Management Association as one of its Local Management Association (LMA).
