2023 first day first violation by private school; opened despite got orders; notice issued

Yesterday on January 1,2023 , the Punjab government ordered the extension winter holidays in all the government, private and aided schools of the state till January 8 th, 2023. School Education Minister Punjab Harjot Singh Bains had declared that all schools in the state would not open on January 2nd as announced earlier. The schools would now open on January 9, 2023.
But today, a private school Dev Public School in Ropar district defying the minister orders and is found opened. On checking teachers were found in the school.
Acting immediately, district education officer, secondary education, Ropar has issued a show cause notice to the school authorities to respond by January 3,2023 in person. “If the school authority fails to respond by the given time, date the higher government authorities will be informed to take suitable action against the school management” read the show cause notice.
