CUP Bathinda Student strikes Silver Medal in AIU Games

While striving forward towards excellence in the fields of education and research, the students of the Central University of Punjab are making strong impressions in the area of sports. Aruna Pal, a first-year student of M.Sc. Microbiology, strikes a silver medal in the rope skipping competition at the All India Inter-University Tournament 2022–23.
Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, the Vice-Chancellor, congratulated Aruna Pal for bringing laurels to the university and conveyed good wishes for a bright career. He also congratulated the Department of Physical Education for providing continuous training and opportunities for students to showcase their talent in sports and enhance their fitness. Prof. Tiwari emphasized that the CUPB administration is making its best efforts to establish world-class sports infrastructure on the university campus, and our broader aim is to train our students in all dimensions with holistic education, so that they can make their mark in various walks of life.
Dr. Sanjeev Mander, HoD, Dept. of Physical Education, CUPB, informed that this year university students participated in different sporting events held at the AIU Sports Tournament and displayed exceptional performances. He stated that this is the first achievement of our university in AIU Games and assured that our students will bring more medals in future to make their alma mater proud.
