Indian Army Jawan Sehajpal Singh cremated with full honour

Emotions ran high as the mortal remains of the Indian Army jawan Sehajpal Singh aged 27 years, who got martyrdom while protecting his motherland at Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday, May 28,2023 were consigned to flames with full military honours at his native village Randhawa in Patiala district on Moday.
Indian Army brought his body in a coffin draped in tricolour and a contingent of the Indian Army Personnel gave a gun salute to the martyr, prior to which the bugles sounded the Last Post.
Martyr’s father Amarjit Singh, mother Paramjit kaur and brother Amritpal Singh saluted the martyr Sehajpal Singh.
Cabinet minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra laid wreath on behalf of chief minister Bhagwant Mann. He expressed his grief with the martyr’s family and said that in this hour of grief, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, he himself as cabinet minister and the Punjab government stands with the bereaved family. He assured them that the state government will provide all possible assistance, honor and respect to the martyr.
