Punjab IAS selected for foreign assignment

The competent authority has approved the proposal of the State Government of Punjab to enable Dr. Adapa Karthik, lAS (PB:2008) to take up the foreign assignment as Regional Adviser, Digital Health (P-5 level), World Health Organization (WHO), South-East Asia Regional Office (SEARO), New Delhi under Rule 6(2) (ii) of lAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, for a period of two (2) years from the date of taking over charge of the assignment or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
