AIIMS Bathinda celebrates its 4th Institute Day with distinguished guests and remarkable achievements

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bathinda celebrated its 4th Institute Day with grandeur and enthusiasm on November 1, 2023. The event took place under the esteemed guidance of the President, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Gupta, and the Director, Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Singh, in the august presence of Som Parkash, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The event also welcomed Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Sood, Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, as the Guest of Honour.
The Institute Day commenced with a warm and gracious welcome address by the President, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Gupta, setting the tone for a day of celebration and reflection. The traditional Lamp Lighting ceremony followed, symbolizing the path of knowledge and enlightenment.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the institute’s progress report by the Director, Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Singh. This provided a comprehensive overview of the institution’s achievements, milestones, and future goals, showcasing AIIMS Bathinda’s commitment to excellence in medical education and healthcare.

In a momentous occasion, the Chief Guest, Shri Som Parkash, participated in the release of the Institute magazine, symbolizing the collective efforts and contributions of the entire AIIMS Bathinda community to the advancement of medical knowledge and research.
One of the most anticipated segments of the celebration was the distribution of Medals and Awards. The Director, Prof. (Dr.) D.K.
