Khalsa College Anandpur Sahib and Institute of Cost Accountants Kolkata Forge Strategic Partnership

In a significant stride towards academic collaboration and mutual advancement, the Commerce & Management Department of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Anandpur Sahib has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the esteemed Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Kolkata.
The MoU was formalized in a ceremony held at the premises of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, solidifying a commitment to foster academic excellence and promote knowledge-sharing in the field of commerce, Cost Accounting and related disciplines.
The principal of the college Dr.Jasvir Singh apprised that the partnership aims to facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas, research, and best practices between the two institutions, creating a platform for students and faculty members to benefit from an enriched learning experience. The head of the department of commerce & manage Dr. Manjeet Singh said that the collaboration will open avenues for joint seminars, workshops, conferences, and collaborative research projects, providing students with practical exposure and industry insights.
Principal Dr. Jasvir Singh expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This MoU marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing high-quality education in the field of Commerce. We are confident that this collaboration will not only benefit our students but also contribute to the growth and development of the academic community as a whole.”
On the other hand, the representatives of the Institute of cost Accountants, India (Kolkata) echoed the sentiment, remarking, “We are delighted to join hands with Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Sri Anandpur Sahib. They added that the partnership will strengthen the academic foundation of students and pave the way for innovative research in the domain of Cost Accounting.”

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by principal Dr. Jasvir Singh, CMA Mr. MK Anand ( Central Council Member), CMA Davinder Singh Bhatia, CMA C.L Bansal, CMA Manish Goyal, C.A Gurjinder Singh, CMA Amit Sharma( Secretary Naya Nangal Chapter of C.A), Maninder Singh (Chairman Naya Nangal Chapter of Cost Accountant), Vice Principal Dr. Malkeet Singh, Dr. Manjeet Singh head of the department of commerce & management, Prof. Harjinder Singh Biling, the head of the department of Punjabi, esteemed faculty members of commerce department of the college and other representatives from both institutions. The collaborative efforts are expected to commence very soon with a shared vision of nurturing future leaders in the field of Commerce, Management, Industry and Cost Accounting.
