KV-I Patiala celebrated Children’s day with enthusiasm
Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Patiala Cantt celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November,2018, the birth anniversary of Pandit JawaharLal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India,with great enthusiasm.
The Primary children arrived at school, dressed in colourful clothes and were full of excitement .After the morning assembly there was the inauguration of the fair by cutting of the ribbon by the the tiny tot of the first class .It was followed by cake cutting ceremony. There was excitement in the airas the students got a chance to participate in fun rides.The children were thrilled to have an opportunity to ride a horse. On this special day micky mousecastle and balloon ride was also arranged. The excitement continued with a plethora of activities which included singing ,dancing and playing games.
Eatable stalls were arranged and amidst plenty of laughter the students enjoyed the eatables.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the school, wished the students a happy children’s day and motivated to follow the footsteps of Pandit Nehru. In his addressed the children and encouraged them to dream big and work hard.
