Punjabi University health centre successfully executed three day pulse polio campaign

Under National Pulse Polio Immunization program, Bhai Ghaniya Health centre of Punjabi University, Patiala campus organised a three day camp immunization camp.
On Sunday, the first day of the campaign, polio drops were administered at the health centre. On Monday and Tuesday a door to door immunization camp was organized.
Dr Regina Maini, SMO, Bhai Ghaniya Health centre of Punjabi University, Patiala campus said that “four member team visited each and every quarter in the university campus including hostel mess employees quarters and university model school in two days to administer the polio drops to the children between 0-5 years”.
She further added that during in these 3 days total 90 children between 0-5 years were given polio drops.
Vice Chancellor Prof Arvind appreciated the efforts made by Health Centre .
Dr Ashok Tiwari, dean academics, Dr Navjot Kaur , registrar also appreciated the way in which Dr Regina,SMO and staff of Health centre organized, managed and executed the Pulse Polio campaign for three day campaign.
