Punjab govt re-designate judges’ post; D&SJ is now Principal D&SJ; notification issued

The Governor of Punjab is pleased to re-designate; District and Sessions Judges as Principal District and Sessions Judges, Additional District and Sessions Judges as District and Sessions Judge, and Sub-Judges/Subordinate Judges as Civil Judges (Junior Division), in the State of Punjab, in conformity with All India Pattern, in Compliance of Orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 643 of 2015 titled AlIl India Judges Associations and others vs.Union of India and Ors, dated 19.05.2023 and 04.01.2024.
