UPSC exams: Patiala’s PCS officer Devdarsh Singh cracks all India civil service exams

Devdarsh Singh of Patiala has cracked the civil services exam 2023 and secured all India 340^th rank in his last attempt.

Devdarsh Singh is a PCS officer of 2020 batch and presently posted as secretary, (exams), Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) at Patiala.

Devdarsh has done his schooling upto 8^th standard at Punjabi University Model School, Patiala and from 9-12^th at Budha Dal Public School, Patiala. After schooling he joins one of India’s prestigious institute, IIT Delhi and did his B.E in Civil Engineering in 2016.

His father Dr Darshan Singh Asht is a renowned poet and is working at Punjabi University Patiala. His mother Dr Rajwant Kaur is teaching at Punjabi department of Punjabi University, Patiala.

After completing his engineering degree he started preparing for civil services and got 12^th all India rank in Indian Forest Services and 1^st rank in PCS. But he opted for PCS.

Devdarsh gave credit to his success to his parents.

He has taken civil engineering as his subject and has done self studies.
