UPSC exams: Patiala’s PCS officer Gurleen secure 30th all India rank in civil service exam

Gurleen Kaur Sidhu of Patiala has cracked the civil services exam 2023 and secured all India 30th rank in her fourth attempt.
Gurleen Kaur Sidhu is a PCS officer of 2022 batch and presently posted as CM Field Officer, assistant commissioner (genral) at Nawanshahar.
Gurleen has done her matriculation from YPS, Patiala and senior secondary from Scholar Field Public School, Patiala. After schooling she joins Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Jalandhar and did her MBBS in 2016.
Her mother Dr Balwinder Kaur Mann is also a medico and retired as district homeopathy officer.
Gurleen gave credit to her success to her mother Dr Balwinder Kaur and to her mentor Ranjna Sharma. She has taken Philosophy as optional subject and taken classes from Mitra sir and has done self studies.
