Congress may field senior ex Punjab police officer from Ferozepur; today joining party

Gurinder Singh Dhillon, IPS, ex additional director general of police (law and security), Punjab is going to be a congress candidate from Ferozepur
Today, Dhillon is joining congress at party head office at Akbar Road, new Delhi.
Yesterday, congress had announced 5 candidates from Punjab. Till date the party had announced 12 candidates and only Ferozepur seat is left.
Speculations are rife that after the joining of Dhillon, the congress party may announce his candidature from Ferozepur.
Dhillon is from Mulianwal village in Gurdaspur district and is settled in Patiala at present. A, 1997-batch IPS officer, Dhillon started his career as the deputy superintendent of police in Jalandhar.
