Hapttitude Bikram Waves Organised at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala

To foster the spirit of leadership and teamwork among students, Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala, arranged a special event “Hapttitude Bikram Waves” under the able guidance of college Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata. The event was organized by IQAC Coordinator Dr. Rekha, HEIS Member Secretary Dr. Reetu Kapoor, and Youth Coordinator Dr Amrinder Kaur.
The screening of film “Chak de India” at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hall, filled enthusiasm among students. After the screening, students shared their reviews, expressing how the film motivated them to embrace leadership roles and work collectively as a team.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata, while highlighting the importance of teamwork, stated that the film teaches the essence of leadership and collaboration qualities that are vital for success in any field. such events prove to be a good platform to identify their abilities also motivates other students to come up front and show their hidden potential.
In addition to the movie screening, the college hosted a series of inter-class competitions throughout the day, including literary events, various sports competitions, fine arts activities, and mehndi competition. These events were designed to promote holistic development, focusing not only on intellectual growth but also on physical fitness and cultural awareness. Nukkad Natak focussing on the Theme of ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ was performed by the students.

Dr. Reetu Kapoor, HEIS Member Secretary encouraged students to draw inspiration from the film and apply its lessons in their academic and personal lives.
Dr. Amrinder Kaur, Youth coordinator said that this program the highlights the importance of self-belief and collective effort. On this occasion Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Staff Secretary, Dr Paramjeet Kaur, Sports Incharge, Prof. Gazal Aggarwal, Prof. Ritika and Dr. Sapna Dhiman were also present.
