Glowing tributes paid to Shaheed- E-Aazam Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary by students, staff of Govt Bikram College

Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala paid glowing tributes to Shaheed- E-Aazam Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary on 28th September 2024 under the able guidance of college Principal Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata.
Addressing the gathering, she said that everyone owed the martyr the sincerest gratitude for his supreme sacrifice. She motivated the students to follow Bhagat Singh’s thoughts and ideas. The occasion was marked by the students singing patriotic songs and reciting poetry dedicated to the martyr. Book exhibition was also organised by Sukhbir Kaur (Librarian) and her team. Members of the faculty and a large number of students joined to celebrate the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
On this day, 8th Book Review session was also held. Prof. Yadwinder Singh presented review on the book ‘Rework: Change The Way You Work Forever’ by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson. The book offers unconventional and practical advice for entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders seeking a more efficient approach to work. It also encourages readers to focus on simplicity and action over endless planning and analysis. All members of the staff were present at the occasion.
