Jaspreet Singh, PCS Sub Divisional District Magistrate, assumed office and held a special meeting with media representatives of Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sub-Tehsil Nurpur Bedi.
He emphasized that media/press plays a positive role in society, particularly in disseminating accurate and timely information to the administration. Sharing their experience, he mentioned having served in sacred cities and historic sites like Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and Sultanpur Lodhi.
Now, he consider it a privilege to serve in Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa. Jaspreet Singh, Sub Divisional District Magistrate, assured that resolving public issues will be prioritized, ensuring no unnecessary hassle for citizens in government offices. He emphasized the positive role of media cooperation.
Officials and employees have been directed to perform their duties responsibly during panchayat elections. During the meeting with various press club members, print, electronic, and social media representatives assured SDM Jaspreet Singh of their full cooperation and support to the administration. Media representatives collectively thanked SDM Jaspreet Singh for today’s meeting. Present on the occasion were Sandeep Kumar, Tehsildar, Angadpreet Singh, Naib Tehsildar, and representatives from various organizations.
