Aeronautical Engg College organized awareness activities on Water Conservation

The Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College today organised a function in alignment with “Jal Shakti Abhiyaan”. It was intended to create awareness regarding concern about depleting water resources & its vision for the water underlining the college commitment to be an active contributor to the sustainability of this very important natural resource.
Speaking on the occasion Er. Vinod kumar, Assistant Professor emphasized on the importance of water conservation as the need of the hour in view of the limited resources and growing demand for domestic, industrial and agricultural uses. He said we have to make concerted efforts to save water for our future generations.
The function started with Poster Making competition and followed by Nukkad natak. Nukkad natak conveyed the idea of water conservation in an effective manner. Total 48 students of Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College and Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College (both are located at Civil Aerodrome, Sangrur Road, Patiala) took part in the program in the presence of Academic and Administrative staff of the both colleges.
