After Preneet kaur, another sitting MP from Punjab ditches Congress; joins BJP

As expected, sitting Congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu has joined BJP.
He joined BJP in the presence of Union Minister Vinod Tawde at BJP Headquarters in Delhi. Ravneet Bittu is a third time Congress MP.
Ravneet is the grandson of late former CM Beant Singh. He was considered close to Rahul Gandhi.
Ravneet Singh Bittu was in 27-member Punjab unit’s pradesh election committee which was set up in January..He is likely to contest the Lok Sabha poll from Ludhiana on BJP’s ticket.
Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, the Ludhiana MP hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah saying they have a lot of affection for Punjab.
