Annual Sports Meet Celebrated at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala

Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala, organized its Annual Sports Meet under the guidance of the college principal, Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata on 12.03.25. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
The sports meet was graced by special guests Kiran kaur, Mohan Singh ,Gurdeep Singh and Kanwaljit Singh from the establishment branch of the college, who encouraged the participants and appreciated their sportsmanship. Paramjit Kaur, the in-charge of the event, ensured the smooth conduct of all activities working in Cooperation with other members of the Sports Committee Pr. Ratan Singh, Dr. Parmjit Singh, Prof. Ramanpreet Kaur, Prof. Swati and Prof. Lakha Singh.
Students competed in various events, including the 100-meter race, relay race, badminton and volleyball. To add fun and excitement, recreational games like the lemon and spoon race,sack race and Rope Skipping were also conducted.Dr. Reetu Kapoor made the event more lively by her unique way of managing the stage.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where winners were felicitated for their outstanding performances. Krishna from BCA 3 was the best athlete (Boys) and Manpreet Kaur of B.Com 1 was judged as the best athlete from among the girl students.The college principal, Prof.(Dr)Kusum Lata, praised the efforts of all participants and encouraged students to stay active and engaged in sports for their overall development.
She had all the words of appreciation for the students Official team from MBS Punjab University of Sports ,Patiala . The student’s Official team was presented Momentos as a token of gratitude.
Annual Sports Meet Celebrated at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala. The Annual Sports Meet ended on a high note, fostering a spirit of teamwork, enthusiasm, and healthy competition among students. All the Committees had put in their efforts to make the event a success.
