Another close confidant of Capt Amarinder Singh resigned

After Punjab chief minister had submitted his resignation to the Governor at around 4 PM today, his close confidants have also started resigning from their posts. The latest in the list is Advocate General (AG) of Punjab Atul Nanda.
Suresh Kumar Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister has already resigned from his post.
Suresh Kumar was most loyal to Capt Amarinder Singh. He was holding all the powers of Chief Minister and most of Congress MLAs had complained against his style of functioning.
Atul Nanda came under attack from Congress MLAs for his failure to handle sacrilege cases and former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini case in particular.
