After Vijoy Kumar Singh another senior IAS officer of Punjab Alok Shekhar has been repatriated by central govt to Punjab
Alok Shekhar, IAS of 1994 batch is presently Additional Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.
Shekhar has been promoted as additional chief secretary from January 1,2024 by Punjab government, on December 31,2023
Punjab govt has appointed Vijoy Kumar Singh as the special chief secretary to chief minister Punjab on his repatriation. Later, an additional charge of financial commissioner, cooperation and principal resident commissioner (NRI affairs), Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi was also given to him on January 7,2024
