Bathinda Govt Teachers,villagers change Ambience of Govt Schools

Bathinda-While the government is taking many initiatives to improve health conditions under Tandarust Punjab Mission, the teachers of government schools have taken onus of turning the government schools building into pieces of beauty. Buildings of Government Primary School village Kaureana, Government Primary School village Inder Singh Wala and Government Primary School Khokhar have been painted in various ways that has appeased its students.

At Government Primary School Kaureana teacher Gurpreet Kaur and EGS volunteer Kirandeep Kaur have converted the outer walls of class rooms into a long train. The teachers got the classes painted during summer vacation giving a pleasant surprise to 60 of its students who were thrilled to step in beautiful school premises.

Former school committee chairman Tarsem Singh said that village panchayat officer Baljinder Singh, Dr Paramjit Singh, Tara Singh president, Satbir Singh NRI, former sarpanch Gurcharan Singh Dal Singh, Dr Rajinder Singh, Bhagwan Valmiki Welfare Youth Club, Hardeep Singh Sony and Balwinder Singh have helped get the rooms painted as train. Rs 71000 have been spent on the project so far of which Rs 52000 were collected through donations while the rest teacher Gaganpreet Kaur has spent from her own pocket. Jain Arts Bathinda has conducted painting task in the school. Gaganpreet Kaur added that the school now plans to open a library that will have dedicated corners for Punjabi, maths and English.

Similarly at Government Primary School village Kothe Inder Singh, teacher Rajinder Singh has painted scenes and cartoon character. He did the work during summer vacations over a period of 18 days wherein three rooms were painted.  He added that the main motive of painting the classes was to make them attractive enough for the young minds that feel ignited with ideas. Like private schools, these government schools too now centers of attraction for the students.

Similarly, at Government Primary School village Khokhar, the teachers have painted train of knowledge on outer walls of the school.
