BBMB Celebrates International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm

The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day at Chandigarh and all its project locations with great enthusiasm. The event highlighted the importance of yoga in fostering a healthy lifestyle among BBMB employees and their families.
A significant number of BBMB employees, along with their families, participated in the events organized by BBMB at Chandigarh, Nangal, Talwara, Sundernagar, Panipat etc., demonstrating their commitment to health and wellness. The enthusiasm and energy were palpable as participants engaged in the session, reflecting the broader community’s growing interest in holistic well-being practices.
In Chandigarh, BBMB organised a grand yoga session at the Community Center, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh. The session was conducted by Sherry Saraswati from Saraswati Yogpeeth, Yoga Wellness Center, Chandigarh. Saraswati, renowned for her profound knowledge and expertise in yoga, guided the participants through various asanas and breathing exercises. Her motivational guidance inspired all attendees to embrace yoga as a vital part of their daily routine.
In his address, Manoj Tripathi, Chairman BBMB, emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into daily life. “Yoga is not meant for just one particular day; it should be an everyday practice,” he stated. Tripathi highlighted the holistic benefits of yoga, noting that it enhances not only physical health but also balances mental and spiritual well-being. He further stressed the importance of practicing yoga under proper guidance from experts to reap its full benefits.
