Bela Pharmacy College Organizes Anti-Ragging Awareness Week Seminar

Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela (Autonomous College) recently hosted a seminar series during Anti-Ragging Awareness Week, focusing on the dangers of ragging and its consequences.
The event, attended by all college students, featured insightful addresses from Rakesh Joshi, Head of the Computer Department, and Parminder Kaur, Head of the Chemistry Department. They educated students on identifying ragging, understanding its severity, and the proper channels for reporting incidents.
The Director of the college proudly declared, “We are proud to say that Bela College campus is ragging-free,” crediting the students and the Anti-Ragging Committee for their efforts. Dr. Neelam Sharma, Head of the Anti-Ragging Committee, emphasized that ragging is a serious offense that can ruin a student’s career, urging students to steer clear of it. She extended gratitude to the speakers and students for their active participation in the program. The seminar served as a crucial platform for raising awareness and reinforcing the college’s commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students.
