BFGI Chairman invited for dinner with Justin Trudeau

Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau is on a visit to India to strengthen Canada-India relations and to set new goals. On this occasion  Nadir Patel, High Commissioner for Canada to India has invited Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions for a Dinner-Reception which will take place at Canada House, the residence of the High Commissioner of Canada, 4 Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Raod , New Delhi on Thursday, 22 February 2018.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, BFGI is among the special guests of the nation being included in the Dinner-Reception hosted for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Canadian delegates.

Expressing his deep gratitude towards this personal invitation, Dr. Dhaliwal said that this invitation is a great honor for Baba Farid Group of Institutions as well as for the entire region. He said that Baba Farid Group of Institutions has already established a partnership with Canada’s Universities by establishing Baba Farid School of International Studies. He said that this dinner reception cum meeting with Canadian Prime Minister and the high powered delegation accompanying him is a great opportunity for us to discuss the bilateral projects and accomplishments that BFGI has been working upon since last few years.

He thanked Canada’s High Commissioner Nadir Patel for this invitation and said that he will discuss personally with Canada’s delegation about the Indian students for bilateral relations, opportunities and education in Canada and share ideas with them about the quality education system of India. Certainly this Dinner-Reception will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, which will be of great benefit to our youngsters. Talking about the visit of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, Dr. Dhaliwal said that this visit is the indication of the strong momentum building in the bilateral relationship and will open new doors for Trade, Investment and Education. Dr. Dhaliwal mentioned that this visit is exciting news particularly for all of us from Punjab for whom Canada is known to be the 2nd home.
