Son of retired SC Judge and senior advocate is new AG Punjab

Senior Advocate Deepinder Singh Patwalia, son of retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice Kuldip Singh, and brother of Punjab and Haryana High Court’s former Judge, Justice Paramjit Singh Patwalia, he was today designated as Advocate General Punjab. He replaces Atul Nanda, who resigned immediately after former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh had resigned.
