Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions honored meritorious girl students on the special eve of New Year.
Hakam Singh Jawandha, Chairman, Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions (BGGI) and Executive member, Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha motivated the hard working spirits of Husandeep Kaur and Gurpreet Kaur by giving them cash prizes.
The meritorious girls have brought laurels to their region by excelling high in their academics with sheer determination and hard work. Husandeep Kaur has topped the PSEB 10+2 Exam and Gurpreet Kaur got 241 rank in MBBS.
Hakam Singh Jawandha, Chairman, BGGI and Executive member, Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha congratulated the meritorious girls for their success. They further added that our daughters are our pride, so, it is our moral duty to provide them a good healthcare, education and growth opportunities. They affirmed that there is an urgent requirement to change our attitude. Girls must be given the same opportunities and protection as boys, and must be treated at par.
A girl’s childhood can and must be preserved, cherished, nurtured and protected. Because she has the right to survive, develop, be protected and participate in decisions that impact her life. Mrs. Baljinder Kaur Jawandha, Dr. Suvreet Kaur Jawandha, Sarabjit Singh (Sahara Foundation) and Prof. Charanjit Singh were also present on this eve.
