Charanjeet Singh Minhas, a successful Indian-American entrepreneur known for founding multiple software companies, launched his latest publication, “Chan, Chaneni te Chakor,” at Cup and Kitab here today.

This collection of 13 short stories delves into the world of creative nonfiction, offering insights drawn from Charanjeet’s personal experiences and observations, particularly in the software industry.

Charanjeet, whose software company Tekstrom, Inc. marked its 25th anniversary last year, has long harbored a passion for reading and writing. His literary journey has spanned both local and international platforms, with his work frequently appearing in renowned literary magazines such as Sirjana, Tasman, and Akhar.

“Chan, Chaneni te Chakor” is a significant milestone in his writing career. The stories explore various facets of life, with a primary focus on the evolution of women in everyday contexts—both in the neighborhood and the workplace.

Charanjeet explains, “Writing these stories has been an immensely personal experience for me. As someone who has spent a significant part of my life in the software industry, I’ve observed the many ways in which its growth has touched both professionals and those around them. I wanted to explore not just the technicalities, but also the human side of this evolution, with a particular emphasis on the women who have been central to this journey.”

He adds, “These stories are a reflection of the world I have witnessed, a world where women’s roles and challenges, though substantial, have often not evolved at the same pace as the industries around them. My aim is to give them a voice and highlight their resilience in the face of these ongoing challenges.”

Charanjeet’s work offers a unique blend of personal reflections and social observations, making “Chan, Chaneni te Chakor” a compelling read for those interested in the intersection of technology, society, and the human experience.
