Book Exhibition Held at Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala

A book exhibition was organized at the Amrita Pritam Library of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala, on February 5, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata, along with Librarian Madam Sukhbir Kaur. The exhibition was collaborated with Madaan Book House, Patiala.
In her inaugural address, Prof. Dr. Kusum Lata emphasized the profound impact that books can have in shaping the lives of students. She encouraged students to prioritize reading over excessive use of mobile phones and social media, stressing that such exhibitions not only promote the habit of reading but also foster intellectual growth.
The exhibition featured a diverse collection of books, ranging from literature and fiction to non-fiction and academic texts. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, all of whom displayed a keen interest in the wide variety of books available. This exhibition provided students with an opportunity to explore new literary works and reinforced the importance of cultivating a strong reading culture.
