Book Lovers’ Retreat’s scintillating, dazzling interactive session with Divya Dutta

The Book Lovers’ Retreat , a Patiala based book club hosted an interactive session on Saturday , 11 th December,2021 at Harpal Tiwana Auditorium , in association with Harpal Tiwana Foundation, Patiala.
‘The Stars In My Sky’ – Those who brightened my film journey is written by an Indian actress and model , Divya Dutta. It was a scintillating and dazzling interactive session moderated by Ritu Tiwana , Simrat Matta , Gurjit Walia and Damanjit Sandhu.
Various questions were asked to the author regarding her alternate love writing, her roles,the so called hurdles like casting couch, the films she aspires to do & many other interesting questions.
Divya Dutta candidly replied to each and every question of the members and guests .
The welcome note was by Dr Sabrina Sandhu and the thank you note was by Dr Damanjit Sandhu .
The rapid fire round evoked laughter.
Divya Dutta mentioned in the log book of the club that it was a wonderful and memorable evening.
She found it an engaging, spontaneous and a rich experience. The warmth and depth of knowledge shown by BLR members left a deep mark on her.

It’s worth mentioning that Divya Dutta has played a wide variety of roles in different genres . She has featured in more than 150 Hindi and Punjabi films .
Her performance was highly acclaimed in films like Veer-Zaara , Bhaag Mikha Bhaag , Delhi -6 and Badlapur .
She has won several accolades in the film industry including a National Award in 2018 as well as Filmfare , IIFA and Zee Cine awards .
Her memoir , Me and Maa , published in 2017 , received rave reviews . It was turned into an audiobook , narrated by Divya herself . Her first poem , penned about the Covid-19 lockdown, ‘Jab Sab Theek Hoga Na’, was much appreciated and widely shared .
Divya Dutta continues to enthrall audiences the world over with the variety of talent she has. It was a real pleasure to have her.
